17-year-old Priyanka from Nagpur ran away from home to wish the actress

This isn't the first time that Aamna Shariff has met a die-hard fan. The actress has a whole lot of fans across the world who send her gifts and collect her pictures and articles from newspapers. However, the actress recently met a 17-year-old girl from Nagpur, who turned out to be her biggest fan.
Recalling the incident, Aamna says, "Priyanka would keep calling and wishing me on festivals. However, on my birthday this year, I got a call from her mother saying that she had run away from home to come and meet me. I was worried for the girl."

Aamna finally met Priyanka, who was accompanied by her brother, and took her to her house. "She was shivering and couldn't speak a word."
A Standard XI student, Priyanka gifted Aamna two paintings and a greeting card that she made herself. "I keep getting gifts from people. But for me, the ones that are made by my fans are more precious. Priyanka's brother told me that she had started taking painting lessons for two months just to be able to sketch something for me. This was the sweetest thing anyone could have done for me."
In fact, the girl also gifted Aamna a bouquet and a stuffed toy, but was disappointed to see a bigger bouquet in her house.

The biggest surprise for Aamna was when she learnt that Priyanka has nearly 25,000 photographs of the actress. "She has been collecting my pictures for the last four years, and even has every single article written on me. I was overwhelmed when I heard this."
The actress adds that Priyanka not only made her birthday special, but also made it immensely memorable. "I always hold my fans very close to my heart. I enjoy having conversations with them and getting inputs on my performances. When I met Priyanka, it touched me to see how much effort this young girl had put into making these paintings and coming all the way from Nagpur to meet me," says Aamna.
